We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at NOV Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and ensure accurate machining.
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform precise measuring and inspection to ensure components meet specific tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to optimize material usage and equipment performance.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Assist in the training and development of other team members to enhance overall manufacturing capabilities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in setup and operation of CNC lathes and/or mills.
  • Proficiency in operating various CNC machine tools, including Okuma, DMG Mori, Mazak, Weingartner, and Leistritz.
  • Knowledge of G-Code, Siemens, Heidenhain, and OS300 controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Excellent mathematical and numerical comprehension, with the ability to use a range of inspection and measurement equipment.
Working Conditions:

The CNC Machinist will work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and standing. The position requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
