Truck Driver

GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled AZ Line Haul Driver to support our Solid Waste line of business.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive daily routes to Michigan, transporting solid waste from transfer stations to various landfills.
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and safety concerns to ensure safe operation and public safety.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, and other incidents as required.
- Document driving and break periods, as well as fuel and toll receipts, in accordance with DOT and MTO regulations.
- Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, and occupational health and safety.
- Drive approximately 600-1100 km per day, with 10-14 hour runs.
- Return home nightly.
- Waste hauling experience is a priority.
- Heavy hauling experience is considered an asset.
- Valid AZ license and 3+ years of related driving experience.
- Top-notch backing skills and ability to cross the US border daily.
- Ability to provide a clean Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal check.
- Great attitude and work ethic, with a high level of personal integrity.
