Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Inspiretci. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing and supporting maintenance services across our plant to ensure optimal production and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Installation and Repair: Install, examine, replace or repair machines and equipment on time to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Pump Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair pumps, including servicing and repair of pumps, including impeller checking and repair/replacement, wear ring replacement, coupling, and motor/gearbox alignment, seal and gland packing adjustment or replacement, bearing replacement, oiling, and lubrication.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance to equipment as required, including minor electrical repairs and welding.
  • Log Keeping and Record Keeping: Maintain logs and records about equipment performance and conditions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Adhere to the maintenance schedule/plan and make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
  • Belt and Screw Conveyer Systems: Maintain, service, and repair various belt and screw conveyer systems, including feed systems associated with industrial machines.
  • Electrical Systems: Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations, and install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other possible electrical components.
  • Electrical Control Systems: Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Lockout/Tag-out Procedures: Use proper lockout/tag-out procedures when required.

Requirements:

  • Trade License: A valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade license (433A) is required.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the plastic manufacturing industry is an asset.
  • Shift Work: Willing and able to work rotational shifts plus additional overtime as required.
  • Challenging Environment: Exhibit the ability to work in a challenging environment.
  • Fabrication Experience: Fabrication experience and ability to weld in all positions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, or within a team environment.
  • Rotating Shifts: Able to work rotating shifts to support a continuous operation.
