Job Title: Fabric Designer

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Designer to join our team at Northcott Silk Inc. As a Fabric Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality fabric designs for our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop fabric patterns and designs for various products, including home care items, novelty items, personal care items, and toys.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and quality across all products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality designs.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as fashion design or textile design.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in fabric design or a related field.
  • Excellent design skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors.
Work Environment:

Our team is based in an urban area, and we work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Fabric Designer, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality designs.
