Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher and Meat Sales Associate to join our team at Finest Sausage & Meat. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing and preparing high-quality meats, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Sell meats to customers
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
  • Grind meats
  • Make special sausages
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment

Our retail environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. You must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a team setting.
