Backend Engineer at Dapper Labs

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team at Dapper Labs, where we are pioneering the intersection of blockchain and gaming. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our server-side infrastructure, ensuring the scalability and security of our backend systems, and delivering innovative features in sports and other domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
  • Optimize and ensure the scalability and security of our backend systems.
  • Develop server-side logic to integrate with blockchain technologies and handle high-volume transactions.
  • Implement monitoring for system performance and reliability, optimizing when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend teams and other technical units to design cohesive and integrated solutions.
  • Tackle complex technical issues and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Experience in backend development, with a strong grasp of server-side languages such as GoLang, or NodeJS.
  • Proficient in managing server environments and understanding core principles of scalable architecture.
  • Experienced with Agile development methodologies and dynamic team collaboration.
  • A solution-driven developer who can adapt to evolving project demands and deliver high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of deploying and managing cloud-based server environments.
  • Strong experience with databases and server-side integration with various database technologies.
