The Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of industrial production and processing machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting regular maintenance checks to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Assuring all assigned equipment safety guarding is in place and all areas of the machine are clean, neat, and organized
  • Documenting required repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure set standards are achieved or exceeded
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs
  • Self-motivation and ability to identify and complete tasks with minimal direction
  • Ability to determine causes of operating errors and implement effective solutions
