Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Activity Leadership: Lead engaging activities, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Guidance and Support: Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure a safe and organized environment for children.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, strong values, and ethics, with the ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
