Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to join our team at Infra Pipe Solutions Ltd. As an Extruder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic pipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet company standards.
- Place weighed materials in mixing machines and operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
- Unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing.
- Pack items for shipping and distribution.
- Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds through nozzles or dies.
- Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes.
- Set up and operate moulding machines to mould plastic products.
- Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
Work Environment:
- Work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment.
- Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
