Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Compunnel Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the protection and optimization of its IT systems and infrastructure. This strategic role involves designing and implementing advanced security standards, technologies, and processes to meet operational objectives and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Architecture Design and Implementation:
- Lead the development of security conceptual, logical, and technical architecture.
- Design secure systems for networks, applications, and cloud environments.
- Develop security capability maps and roadmaps for solution delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Infrastructure and Cloud Security:
- Develop and implement secure cloud computing environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, security configurations, and compliance.
- Lead projects to migrate workloads from data centers to cloud platforms.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security practices across solutions.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Partner with vendors, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure cohesive security strategies.
- Provide third-level incident support and guidance to internal teams.
- Deliver security training and awareness sessions for staff.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain and update architecture documentation, diagrams, and repositories.
- Communicate architecture changes and security requirements to stakeholders.
- Create supporting documents for security architecture implementation and best practices.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Certifications:
- TOGAF or SABSA, ITIL, and CISSP.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in security architecture.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, O365, Advanced Threat Protection, and Azure Sentinel.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as CyberArk, Cisco, Zscaler, Tenable.io, and F5 firewalls.
- In-depth understanding of digital security, cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and network security.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and VMware.
- Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, data storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with IT service management, application integration, and secure development lifecycles.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Additional Assets:
- Experience with housing management systems and IoT security.
- Knowledge of Cisco network and voice technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks like Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
KPIs: System uptime and availability, Incident response time and vulnerability remediation, Architecture quality and compliance with standards, Effective collaboration and delivery of security solutions.
