First Onsite is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team in Prince Edward Island (PEI), where you'll have the chance to lead and manage the restoration of properties to their pre-disaster state.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of the unique challenges and demands of disaster property restoration. As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time to our quality standards, establishing trust with clients, and resolving disputes and complaints professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Manage restoration claims, including water damage and fire damage to residential and commercial properties
- Prepare accurate quotations, job costing, and estimating
- Inspect progress and work quality to ensure timely completion and compliance with policy and guidelines
- Build strong relationships with clients, adjusters, property managers, and other key players to generate new leads
- Proven experience (3 years +) in the restoration or insurance industry
- Solid knowledge of building construction practices and local codes
- Skilled in using Xactimate for accurate scoping, estimating, and project planning
- Experience in planning and monitoring budgets
- Valid driver's license and a clean criminal record
- Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
