About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at FYidoctors. As a key member of our clinic, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance to patients on eyewear options, ensuring they receive the best value and quality for their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in corrective eyewear solutions and assist patients in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and performance requirements.
  • Accurately interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
  • Process contact lens orders and assist with fittings, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their medical service providers, and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments.
  • Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients as they enter our clinic, setting the tone for a positive and memorable visit.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards, using your charisma and problem-solving skills to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment is highly desirable.
  • Previous optical experience is considered an asset, but not required.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a high level of comfort using technology and computers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
