About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Dining Room Server to join our team at the Carrington Group of Companies. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to all dining residents and guests.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all daily menu items and specials.
  • Properly set tables, remove used dishes and place settings, and assist with cleaning duties.
  • Comply with all dining and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Engage in friendly, polite conversation with residents and provide a comfortable, relaxed dining experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor and senior staff.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Effective communication and fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Professional appearance and manners.
  • A positive team attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Clear criminal record check completed a maximum of three (3) months prior to the 'date of hire' required.
