Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre in Alberta.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care services, including outpatient and inpatient consultations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and be eligible for independent practitioner registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta.
Key Responsibilities- Providing comprehensive patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning;
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records;
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures;
- Specialty certification or equivalent in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation;
- Eligibility for independent practitioner registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta;
- Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC);
- Equivalencies deemed appropriate by CPSA for a PRA Assessment with AHS Sponsorship;
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
