About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Adeer Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in various locations. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week in a permanent position. The work language is English.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
