Job Title: Master Woodworker - Design and Craft Cabinetry

We are seeking an experienced Master Woodworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and crafting bespoke cabinetry solutions for our clients.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent, full-time position offering 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have secondary school graduation certificate and relevant experience in the field.

  • Instruct apprentices on the art of woodwork and cabinetmaking
  • Analyze plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring precision and attention to detail
  • Assemble parts and subassemblies, reinforcing joints to create sturdy and durable cabinets
  • Sand wooden surfaces, applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, while preparing and applying laminated plastics
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, enhancing their aesthetic appeal
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure project completion
  • Evaluate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Restore or recreate wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products, breathing new life into existing pieces

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (depending on experience)
