Job Summary:

The Flooring Specialist will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors and walls
  • Install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl and ceramic tiles
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

The Flooring Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. The work environment will be physically demanding, with exposure to dust, odors, and other hazards.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Flooring Specialist will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
