Job Summary

The AP/AR Clerk will be responsible for preparing and sending invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate customer records. Additionally, this role will involve processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, preparing payments, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining payroll records.
  • Reconcile financial statements, manage expense reports, and assist with month-end reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure billing accuracy and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized financial records and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of AR/AP and payroll experience, preferably in the construction or subcontracting industry.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
