Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at HIGH RIVER BOTTLE DEPOT INC.
Job Summary:The Shipper-Receiver will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within our facility. This includes determining the method of shipment, scheduling distribution, and preparing shipping documents.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine Method of Shipment: Choose the most suitable method of transportation for goods, considering factors such as cost, time, and safety.
- Schedule Distribution: Plan and coordinate the delivery of goods to ensure timely arrival and minimize delays.
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Create and verify bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Inspect and Verify Goods: Check incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure they match the ordered items.
- Affix Identifying Information: Label shipments with relevant information, including shipping instructions and identifying details.
- Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
- Supervise Material Handlers: Lead and direct material handlers and helpers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Payments: Process payments for goods received and ensure accurate financial records.
The Shipper-Receiver will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The role involves repetitive tasks, but also offers opportunities for initiative and teamwork.
Requirements:- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
