Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Metal Fabrication Assistant. In this role, you will assist in the metal fabrication process, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve optimal results.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve precise results.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand project requirements and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
