ENT Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ENT Surgeon to join our team at the Portage District General Hospital in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a broad-based skillset in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and will be responsible for performing a range of surgical procedures, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanostomy tube insertion, septoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, treatment of epistaxis, and peritonsillar abscesses. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Perform a range of surgical procedures, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanostomy tube insertion, septoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, treatment of epistaxis, and peritonsillar abscesses.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.
- Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French).
- Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
- Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality and maintain patient privacy.
