Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with emergency management officials, municipalities, and other stakeholders to coordinate disaster response and recovery efforts
- Conduct assessments of damage and identify necessary support services for affected communities
- Develop and implement strategies to restore essential services, infrastructure, and facilities
- Provide technical expertise to inform policy development and program implementation

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, project management, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of provincial and national building codes
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial infrastructure projects
- Experience working with the National Disaster Financial Assistance Arrangements (DFAA) program
