Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Transport on Time. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport goods and materials. Your duties will include loading and unloading goods, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks, and overseeing the condition of the vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

  • AZ class license
  • Driver logbook
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Maintenance and repair reports
  • Trip reports

Working Conditions:

As a Truck Driver at Transport on Time, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work a regular schedule with some overtime possible.
