Our ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications using C++. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of next-generation products and features for our satellite communication solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement high-performance C++ applications for cloud-native environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient C++ code.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain robust unit, component, and integration tests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest C++ standards and cloud-native technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need strong proficiency in C++ programming language (8+ years of experience), including modern C++ 14/17/20 features. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns is also required. Experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications on Kubernetes (5+ years of experience) and knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools for these applications are highly desirable.

Additionally, experience with cloud-native technologies (5+ years of experience) such as Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration, solid understanding of Kubernetes API and objects, basic understanding of Linux implementation of the kernel namespace concept, knowledge of network programming, asynchronous programming, and multi-threading are preferred. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies are essential.
