Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Focal and Project Coordinator to join our Bombardier Engineering System (BES) team. As a Focal and Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to cross-functional initiatives and long-term projects that drive engineering excellence in the context of integrated engineering business process management.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Project Support: Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and long-term projects that drive engineering excellence in the context of integrated engineering business process management
- Process Development: Facilitate the creation and implementation of standardized processes and engineering business standards to optimize efficiency and consistency
- Documentation and Training: Document engineering procedures and provide training to ensure effective utilization of content management systems and processes
- Access Management: Manage restricted document access, process access requests, and maintain the integrity of sensitive information
- Content Management: Update and maintain engineering content on various platforms, including SharePoint and corporate websites, to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination
- User Support: Provide technical assistance and support to users of content management tools, such as BES Engineering Change workflows and the Supplier Portal
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in online content and implement enhancements to enhance user experience and efficiency
- Talent Development: Select, supervise, and train interns to foster a pipeline of skilled engineering content management professionals
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Program or Project Management
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the aerospace, document or project management fields
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint
- Necessary skills to work effectively in a collaborative engineering team environment
- Interest in Aerospace, Engineering, Product Development, or Continuous Improvement
- Bilingual and possess good communication and presentation skills in both French and English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity or interest in processes and workflows
- Mastery or knowledge of TeamCenter, PowerBI, Excel pivot tables, HTML and web design is an asset
