Agricultural Equipment Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our agricultural equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in agricultural equipment maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and its components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment
