Bear Creek Optical is seeking a seasoned Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. This key role will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing sales staff, and maintaining high standards of product knowledge.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail setting, with a proven track record of successfully supervising teams and driving sales growth. They will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About You
  • You hold a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training new staff, and ordering merchandise.
  • You will also be expected to authorize returns, establish work schedules, sell merchandise, and prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.
  • In addition, you will resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests and supply shortages, organize and maintain inventory, and supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
Supervision
  • You will be responsible for supervising cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
Benefits
  • This permanent position offers 40 hours of work per week, with a competitive estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 based on location and industry standards.
