About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Specialist to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As an Environmental Project Specialist, you will be responsible for managing environmental site assessments and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inter-disciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet or exceed project goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings to support clients.
- Work with project team members to develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure technical and commercial excellence.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including significant milestones and any conditions that may affect project cost or schedule.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, Engineering, or related technical/business field.
- 4+ years of experience in the environmental industry.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Diverse background in environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, field sampling, and reclamation.
