Job Title: Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Galaxy Wellness Centre Inc.

Job Summary

The Physiotherapist Assistant will work under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, carrying out treatment programs, and preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Flexibility, organized, and reliable
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
