About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Winners. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supporting store sales results, expense management, and customer service metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support store sales results by implementing strategies to drive sales growth, manage inventory levels, and optimize store layouts.
  • Manage store expenses, including payroll, inventory, and operational costs, to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies to enhance the shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to store associates to improve their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with district managers and business development teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business, retail, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail, including operations, customer service, and people management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, negotiating, and conflict management.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the company.
