About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trades Helper to join our team at Mikes Warehouse Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the calculation of crane capacities and the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assemble tower cranes on site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Operate a forklift and maintain a high level of safety awareness at all times.
Certifications and Training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. You will be required to work in a fast-paced warehouse and construction environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
