Job Opportunity: Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in Fort St John, BC. This role will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of the CMMS (Maximo), providing support on maintenance activities to the field, and developing and tracking maintenance KPIs for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance and reliability strategies for the North Gas Division Operations
  • Assist with managing the work order and maintenance tracking systems
  • Provide technical support to operations engineering and field operations with respect to the execution of maintenance activities
  • Prioritize maintenance related tasks to ensure activities are completed in a cost-effective manner
  • Responsible for communication and support of work orders issued to field operations in a timely manner
  • Utilize the Maximo system to its full capabilities
  • Implement preventive maintenance systems & corrective maintenance tracking
  • Assist with creating a critical parts inventory & ensure inventory is managed to minimize downtime
  • Schedule & manage third-party maintenance service providers, track & control costs
  • Provide support to procurement group regarding purchasing of maintenance parts
  • Assist with planning turnaround activities for maintenance at the facilities
  • Review and input maintenance records into Maximo
  • Assist with building a bill of materials for parts related to PM's on facility equipment
  • Assist the maintenance department with ordering and purchasing parts for facility equipment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related maintenance and operation experience
  • Experience with CMMS – Maximo preferred but not required
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent Computer Skills

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $94,000 - $129,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
