We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Analyst to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business process improvements and financial analysis to support our organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain business process flow diagrams and supporting process narrative documentation.
- Evaluate Finance business process performance and provide quantifiable opportunities to increase Finance's performance against defined objectives, maturity metrics, and/or benchmarks.
- Support business process re-engineering activities and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Investigate new and emerging technology based on understanding of Finance business processes and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Define performance metrics for Finance product enhancements/changes and support the mandate to champion the principles of Finance's product stewardship model.
- 4-year university degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, engineering, information technology, economics, or similar.
- Minimum 4 years of business analyst, product owner, finance, or accounting working experience.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP BPC) and finance systems (e.g., FP&A and xP&A, EPM and CPM).
- Experience with financial analysis, controllership, financial and management reporting, and corporate FinTech.
