The Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Amica West Vancouver. As an LPN with Amica, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of others every day. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering best-in-class care and services to our residents.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide nursing care to our residents in a supportive environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing hands-on care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed;
  • Conducting assessments and developing personalized wellness plans for each resident;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery;
  • Participating in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM;
  • Current CPR certification;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members;
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset.
