We are seeking a skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team at SEAL-IT GROUP. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance
- Cut grass and maintain outdoor spaces
- Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including backhoes, pick-up trucks, and small engine equipment
- Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with landscape maintenance equipment and techniques
- Knowledge of horticulture and plant care
- Ability to work in a variety of outdoor environments, including wet and dusty conditions
