We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Cybersecurity team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in supporting our Prioritization and Triage engine, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify and solve cybersecurity problems using machine-learning algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve cybersecurity problems using machine-learning algorithms.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Research and develop new data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Collaborate with team members, including software engineers, data scientists, product managers to design and implement new and improved solutions.
- Communicate results and insights, both verbally and written (including visual graphics), in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong experience using machine learning framework and libraries (Scikit-Learn, Metaflow, Sagemaker).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain.
- Understanding of cyber security principles and attack vectors is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of writing production-grade code experience to ensure good programming practices.
- Proficiency in at least one of the programming languages such as Python, Java, GoLang.
- Experience with big data technology (Spark) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is desirable.
- Proficiency in Python is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of data science experience.
- Proficient in creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, natural language processing, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, A/B testing, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.)
