About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Terry's Comfort Food With Attitude Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and portion food items for service, including heating and finishing dishes as required.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week.
