Job Details
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our External Financial Advisory team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide a range of services to small and mid-sized companies, including bookkeeping, financial modeling, and fractional CFO services.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with financial advisory services, including financial data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
- Conduct business analysis and identify improvements in accounting processes, reporting, data quality, and system tools.
- Develop financial models for various applications, such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and valuations.
- Develop effective working relationships with clients and internal teams to support the delivery of advisory services.
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP's services and clientele through experiential learning with clients.
- Network and support the local professional community while raising awareness of MNP and identifying new business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or intending to pursue a CPA designation.
- Completion of a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
- Experience with financial statement modeling is considered an asset.
- Experience working with accounting and tax software, such as QuickBooks and Xero, is considered an asset.
- Travel may be required.
