Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at Hillfield Canadian Immigration Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department and ensuring they meet the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events;
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure alignment with company objectives;
  • Open and distribute mail and other materials;
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures;
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures;
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences;
  • Schedule and confirm appointments;
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages;
  • Answer electronic enquiries;
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory;
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas;
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems;
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents;
  • Perform data entry;
  • Provide customer service;
  • Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field;
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions;
  • Maintain and manage digital database;
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff;
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A College diploma or CEGEP certificate in a relevant field;
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
