Physiotherapist II for Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions

About the Role
This challenging position involves providing advanced physiotherapy services to patients with complex developmental behavioural conditions. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team setting, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, applying advanced clinical knowledge and reasoning to identify treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating innovative solutions to complex assessment and treatment issues.
- Document patient information, including clinical data, assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to foster optimal progress and ensure client-centered care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing clinical expertise and input to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage in professional development, staying current with best practices and research evidence in physiotherapy.
Requirements
- Master's degree in physiotherapy or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in physiotherapy, preferably with a focus on complex developmental behavioural conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to critically appraise research evidence and apply it to clinical practice.
- Commitment to upholding the principles of Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism.
