**Job Title:** Continuing Education Instructor

**Job Summary:**

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified Continuing Education Instructor to join our team. As an instructor in our International Language Program, you will be responsible for teaching elementary and secondary students in a variety of languages on Saturdays throughout the school year.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teach students in 27 different languages, including Aramaic, Hebrew, Persian, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Polish, Tagalog, Cantonese, Hungarian, Portuguese, Tamil, Croatian, Igbo, Punjabi, Thelunga, Farsi, Italian, Russian, Turkish, German, Korean, Sanskrit, Ukrainian, Greek, Malayalam, Sinhalese, Urdu, Gujarati, and Mandarin.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying language proficiency levels.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective language program.

  • Qualifications and experience in teaching languages to elementary and secondary students.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays throughout the school year.
