Job Summary

We are seeking an IDD/BIM Manager to join our Urban Transportation Solutions group, supporting the ONxpress GO Rail Expansion project. As a key member of our team, you will ensure BIM, GIS, and digital construction meet standards and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of BIM and GIS across project disciplines, ensuring compliance with Aecon's IDD BIM processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and coordination across all work streams, from design to construction.
  • Ensure delivery of BIM and GIS in accordance with Aecon's IDD Information Requirements and Employer's Information Requirements.
  • Manage the link between client, consultant, and subcontractor BIM teams, ensuring coordinated delivery of federated models.
  • Drive an inclusive culture, promoting equity, diversity, and belonging within the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IDD implementation, preferably in large rail infrastructure construction projects.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience in civil construction practice.
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM Standards and experience with model federation platforms.
  • Experience in implementing common data environments and across all stages of a project lifecycle.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
