Registered Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Care Aide to join our team at Acropolis Manor. As a Registered Care Aide, you will work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate to assist in the delivery of client care in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.

- Work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the Registered Nurse or other designate.
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
