Liquor Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Corky's Liquor Store. As a Liquor Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of sales staff, ensuring that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets.
- Assign Sales Workers: Assign tasks and duties to sales staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell liquor and other products to customers, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about our products and can make informed recommendations.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or liquor store environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned, and urban area.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, walking, and sitting.

- Offers On-the-Job Training: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Offers Mentorship and Coaching: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Provides Awareness Training: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
