We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at Wesco International, Inc. as a Senior Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for interacting with existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
  • Market our products and offer value-added services to existing and potential new accounts.
  • Develop strong business relationships with existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and competitive knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
  • Lead and mentor other Inside Sales Representatives as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Sales and Sales Administration.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and mentor/coach team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts.
  • Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and realistic understanding of issues.
  • Ability to solve difficult and sometimes moderately complex problems.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred sales experience in electrical or distribution environment.
