">About the Role:
">- This autonomous role involves practicing as a third-party contractor, forming part of the interdisciplinary management team, and collaborating with medical directors, other physicians, and community services.
Requirements:
">- Certification as a Registered Nurse with Extended Class privileges from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Masters of Nursing or equivalent
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and successful completion of the Ontario Primary HealthCare Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program
- Five years of experience as a primary healthcare nurse practitioner
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Current membership in the Nurse Practitioners Association of Ontario and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario
Preferred Qualifications:
">- Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application
- Demonstrated ability to assist patients, family members, or other clients with concern and empathy
Additional Requirements:
">- Proof of two vaccinations against COVID-19
- A screening for tuberculosis
- Two supervisory references that are satisfactory to the employer
