We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Lighting Artist to join our team. As a Lighting Artist, you will work closely with Art, Cinematic, and Technical Art teams to create visually stunning scenes that support storytelling, art direction, and gameplay objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Art, Cinematic, and Technical Art teams to create industry-leading visuals across various environments.
  • Craft compelling lighting that enhances story, art direction, and gameplay objectives.
  • Translate conceptual illustrations into outstanding real-time lighting visuals.
  • Collaborate with Art and Technical Art teams to solve technical challenges within constraints and visual requirements.
  • Proactively seek feedback and communicate with Art Directors, Lighting Lead, Cinematic Director, and relevant departments.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in video game or film production.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of lighting composition and color.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, Frostbite, Snowdrop, or similar game engines.
  • Good knowledge of real-time lighting principles, atmospherics, and post-processing.
  • Thorough understanding of light, shadow, and color in creating tone and mood.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Background in real-world photography, cinematography, and lighting.
