We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Logistics Specialist to join our team at Great Worldwide Logistics Co. Ltd.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as free parking, 30 hours per week, and a permanent work term.
Job Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, highlighting successes and challenges.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, resolving technical issues promptly.
- Resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders, consulting with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost- and time-efficient manner.
- Prepare and maintain progress and other reports, analyzing data to inform logistics decisions.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to meet deadlines and achieve operational goals.
- Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations, responding to urgent calls from individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations.
- Follow up on issues with work orders, keeping track of shipments and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliability: Consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Team player: Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Accurate: Ensuring attention to detail in all aspects of logistics operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as logistics or business administration.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field.
