Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities across North America. This role involves maintaining floor and facility cleanliness, cleaning and sanitizing washrooms and common areas, restocking supplies, dusting and surface cleaning, lobby spot cleaning, and vacuuming entrance mats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in floors, washrooms, and garbage bins throughout the facility.
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms, common areas, and entrance areas regularly.
  • Restock toilet paper, hand towels, and hand soap as needed to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust all visible surfaces, including countertops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges, and vents, to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Perform spot cleaning on lobby floors and conduct thorough washing when necessary to ensure optimal cleanliness.
  • Regularly vacuum all entrance mats in lobby areas to prevent dirt and debris from entering the facility.


Requirements:
  • Prior experience in floor maintenance, including scrubbing, buffing, and polishing, is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in using cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, swing machines, burnishers, and other relevant tools is required.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic as a team player are necessary to succeed in this position.
  • The ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs comfortably is also required.
