The Position:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be a key member of our Finance team, providing financial guidance to the Marketing team by delivering financial insights and facilitating key decisions related to revenue, profitability, and return on investments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive financial analyses (monthly, quarterly, annually, budget) identifying and reporting timely updates on key measures.
- Analyze mix/volume, price, cost of goods, customer profitability, and ROI to provide actionable financial insights.
- Present brand performance findings with Brand Managers during regular reviews.
- Draw conclusions from complex data and make informed financial decisions and recommendations with minimal supervision.
- Develop and evaluate displays and prepacks for strategic vs. tactical purposes and their impact on brand profitability; monitor and manage display trends and costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, Revenue Management, Supply Chain, Internal and External Auditors, and Accounting.
- Lead in the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of brand profitability for new product development, business analysis, cost savings, and marketing program investments, followed by actionable recommendations and execution plans.
- Work closely with Brand Managers to ensure brand performance reporting and forecasting accuracy, understanding committed vs. non-committed funds.
- Complete complex analytical work and special projects.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for the brand group and functional groups on brand profitability and analysis.
- Assess and manage brand marketing spend.
- Engage in the marketing month-end close process, analyzing financial information for general ledger entry.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Professional accounting designation – CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance within the CPG industry, demonstrating proficiency in managing a complex group of brands.
- SAP and Oracle experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Word.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data meaningfully and make recommendations.
- Show initiative and make impactful decisions with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking and recommendation of ideas for improvement of existing policies and practices.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage varying deadlines efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum
